Growing up in Miami Beach, Vida was the girl with headphones on everywhere she went. By middle school, if she wasn’t making mixtapes for her friends, she was probably buying music for lunch instead of food. Vida moved to NYC in 2004 and her first gig here was at Home Sweet Home in 2008. From that first night, she was offered a weekly slot at Happy Ending Lounge, which lasted almost two years. Vida soon began playing underground dance parties mostly in Williamsburg and the Lower East side and quickly expanded to play large nightclubs, corporate clients, fashion shows, in store events, and eventually weddings. Vida prides herself on her ability to play to any crowd. She is happy to showcase her favorite songs when the party calls for it, but is just as inspired playing what people in the room want to dance to. Vida’s reputation is consistent and her goal has been to make every event as fun as possible. Vida now resides in both NYC and Miami.
