DJ TRx (Tina Romero)

Tina hasn’t left home without headphones since she received her first Walkman in third grade. Her lifelong obsession with music led to the birth of “DJ TRx” in 2008. She started playing house parties and clubs and soon became a fixture in NYC queer nightlife. Her festive high energy and flair for theatrics eventually led to performances at some the highest-profile events in the city, including the U.S. Open, the Tony Awards, and the official Frozen on Broadway after party. TRx delivers an eclectic blend of genre and style--from Motown to Afrobeats; hip-hop to dance-pop- and knows how to keep diverse crowds happy and dancing all night.
